Espatriati. Giovani italiani che, come me sono emigrati (2025) è un ritratto dell’Italia raccontata da giovani che hanno scelto di partire per l’estero. Raccontando ciò che hanno lasciato indietro e ciò che hanno costruito altrove, sospesi tra il il senso di appartenenza a una comunità e la libertà di reinventarsi, il progetto si interroga su cosa significhi partire, restare, e su come la migrazione leghi il nostro passato al futuro della nostra terra. Formato da un documentario e una serie ritratti fotografici, il progetto si interroga sulle ragioni che spingono all’emigrazione e sul concetto di “casa”, esplorando temi come identità, appartenenza, libertà e giudizio.

Espatriati. Young Italians Who, Like Me, Have Emigrants (2025) is a portrait of Italy as told by young people who have chosen to leave for abroad. By recounting what they left behind and what they built elsewhere, suspended between a sense of belonging to a community and the freedom to reinvent themselves, the project questions what it means to leave, to stay, and how migration connects our past to the future of our country. Comprised of a documentary and a series of photographic portraits, the project questions the reasons that drive emigration and the concept of "home," exploring themes such as identity, belonging, freedom, and judgment.
